KUTA
Kuta Beach bustles with tourists vendors and locals. It's the most popular beach in Bali and the island's number one party zone.Rapid development and an influx of visitors hasn't kept the surfers away and Kuta still remains one of Bali's best surfing beaches and a great place to enjoy the beach life.
While the surfers are still part of the Kuta scene, it's the shopping, nightlife and party vibes that attracts thousands of visitors. There's a huge choice of accommodation, restaurants and entertainment; so if you want to be within walking distance of a cool beach lifestyle by day and party by night - this is place.

SEMINYAK
A few miles north of Kuta is Seminyak which is the hippest part of southern Bali. More upmarket than Kuta and home to Bali's best bars, clubs and restaurants with new places opening almost weekly. Creative energy is the phrase that best sums up Seminyak, energy which also extends to the fashion boutiques.
Cool comes at a price, featuring strongly are world class hotels and resorts located next to the beach. Expect prices to be a little higher than Kuta.

ULUWATU
Connected to the mainland by a low, narrow isthmus, the limestone
tableland of Bukit peninsula, at 200 meters above sea level,
is in striking contrast to the lush Bali mainland. Cacti grow upon
this arid land.
Some parts are used for grazing cattle. A good surfaced road meanders
across Bukit to its western tip, where rocky precipices drop almost on
UBUD
On a side-road, leading inland to the hills near Karangasem, is Tenganan, one of the most conservative villages of the BaliAga11 original" Balinese. This is a walled village. Within the bastions, all living compounds are identical in plan and are arranged in rows on either side of the wide, stone-paved lanes which run the length of the village.
LOVINA
Between Singaraja and Seririt on Bali's wild north coast is a busy stretch of losmens and hotels, and the low sea makes this area by far the most inspiring beach in Bali.
SANUR
In the 1930's, Sanur was the Beverly Hills of Bali, with many rich and
famous people having their residences here. Today it is a center for
windsurfing, parasailing and other water sport.
KINTAMANI
In script from the 10th century indicate that this high mountain district which takes its name from the ancient, windblown town at 1,500 meters- was the earliest known kingdom in Bali. Its small houses are constructed of wood and bamboo tiles to give warmth in the cold evenings of the highlands. Plentiful vegetables and fruits prosper in the damp climate. LEMBONGAN ISLAND
Nusa Lembongan, a small island between Bali and Nusa Penida in Badung Strait, is the perfect holiday hideaway with few visitors and pristine un-spoilt beaches. A low, protected island about 11 km southeast of mainland Bali, measuring only four by three km and ringed with mangrove swamps, and palms and white sandy beaches. Inland the terrain is scrubby and very dry, with volcanic stonewalls and processional avenues crisscrossing the small cactus-covered hills. Overlooking Sanghiang Bay with its clear blue waters, the Nusa Lembongan Resort offers a panoramic view of eastern Bali and the majestic silhouette of Mount Agung. Known for its great surf, the excellent crystal-clear waters also make it a perfect place for snorkeling and diving. It's still a basic place, but interesting, and there are some lovely places to stay.

LOMBOK ISLAND

GILI TRAWANGAN
Gili Trawangan is the largest of Lombok's Gili Islands and is the only one to rise significantly above sea level. It is 3km long and 2km wide with a population of about 700. Of the Gilis, Trawangan has the most tourist facilities.
On Gili Trawangan (as well as the other two Gilis), there are no motorized vehicles. The main means of transportation are bicycles (rented by locals to tourists) and cidomo (a small horsedrawn carriage).
